A little backstory… Not So Artful Productions was established in 2012 when they produced a regional production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Theatre Banshee in Los Angeles, California. The following year, the team produced a regional production of Adam Gwon’s Ordinary Days to high acclaim. In 2017, Not So Artful decided to produce their first original project when they switched up platforms in order to produce the digital series Grosse Misconduct. Conceived by head writer and co-producer Colby Ryan, GM is a a six-part LGBTQ+ lead digital series that aims to create and celebrate work better representing the full spectrum of our LGBTQ+ communities by featuring characters that are identifiable and relatable to all audiences. In 2019, GM was picked up by streaming service Revry.
